An Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga’s Intermediate Series

An All-Levels Offering

Originally recorded especially for students who have been practicing Ashtanga yoga's Primary series for some time and would really benefit from postures within Intermediate -- this class is really for anyone. Even if you do not practice the Ashtanga Yoga method as there will be options and variations similar to those you might find in any all levels Hatha Yoga class.

Class is broken down into 4 parts: (1) standing series (the fundamentals); (2) the floor series, adapted from Ashtanga’s second series; (3) the backbending series, where students can work progressively, in a way that is challenging but also meets every student where they are; and (4) the closing series, followed by a short seated breathing meditation.
